You will read a lot about Naples, some good some bad. Our advice is to go and see for yourself – only then can you truly form your own opinion about this amazing one of a kind city. Did we mention that Naples is the 3rd largest city in Italy after Rome and Milan?
All areas of Naples (apart from the one over the hill) can easily be reached by foot:
Historic centre – All the main monuments, the University of Naples, an abundance of restaurants and many clubs.
Chiaia – rich seafront neighbourhood with stunning views of Capri and Posillipo.
Vomero – over the hill (reachable with bus or train), quiet residential area with big streets
Posillipo – hilly neighbourhood that overlooks the ocean, expensive houses and restaurants. Home to Gaiola’s Park and Marechiaro.
Phlegraean – overlooks the ocean towards the west of the city. The best fish restaurants, winter and summer clubs.
